Skate Patrol - Can't stop? Here's where to start

Easter weekend marks the start of the Skate Patrol season in London. London Skate Patrol is a group of volunteers from the London area, who believe (reasonably enough) that the biggest challenge in learning how to skate safely is learning how to stop (well, maybe after learning how to go). Starting from Sunday 8th April at 1pm they'll be running their regular heel-braking clinics on most Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from Easter weekend throughout the summer.

IT'S FREE. No salesman will call.

You can recognise Skate Patrollers by their red t-shirts with white crosses (not to be confused with the LSFC red t-shirts with yellow wheels): they're usually found on Serpentine Road near the boathouse.

Skate Patrol is affiliated to the International In-line Certification Program (ICP-International) and all patrollers are trained and insured to teach the basic beginner skills. For more information about London Skate Patrol, visit their website.
